We were pleased to award three $1,300 MANDF Scholarships this year (we did not have a candidate who met the Flannery Scholarship criteria):

Taylor attends the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities and will receive her MS in Nutrition in May 2025.
“I am so fortunate and grateful to be awarded the Bodin Scholarship. This scholarship allows me the ability to focus on pursuing my Master’s degree in Nutrition and to bear less of the financial burden that I am currently facing in supporting myself and pursuing my dreams of becoming a registered dietitian. Thank you!”

Kerrie attends the University of Minnesota and will receive a Master of Professional Studies in Dietetics in May 2025.
“Receiving this scholarship is an incredible stress relief for my educational pursuits, family, and myself moving into this next chapter of completing my graduate studies while being a casual employee at a hospital and a partner and mother. It truly lets me know the Minnesota Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics is invested not only in my educational pursuits, but the inclusive future I see and believe in for dietetics on every level, from policy to the bedside. Words alone cannot do justice to how much humble gratitude I feel by receiving this scholarship from such an impressive community of colleagues. I look forward to being able to garner as much knowledge as I can to adequately benefit each person I serve. Thank you for your kind generosity!”

Casey attends the University of Wisconsin- Stout and will receive an M.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics in May 2025.
“I am honored to be chosen as a recipient of the President’s Leadership Scholarship. I am pleased to know that you recognize my potential in the field of nutrition. I have continually pushed myself outside my comfort zone during my undergraduate degree which has led me to some amazing leadership opportunities. To say that I am grateful for the MAND Foundation would be an understatement. The financial help allows me to put more effort into my courses as well as be able to dedicate time towards volunteering. I understand that you have made an investment in my future success, and for this I am very fortunate.”
