Meet Kerrie Roozen, MAND’s Foundation Chair!
Kerrie is a registered dietitian at Cedar Hill Therapy and adjunct faculty at St. Catherine University. She specializes in supporting neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ individuals, as well as those navigating cardiovascular disease, GI conditions, complex allergies, eating disorders, and feeding challenges. She also precepts students in the SMMART Clinic, teaches Comer por su Salud cooking classes, and will be teaching Nutrition Education and Counseling this fall.
As MAND’s Foundation Chair, Kerrie helps brainstorm creative ways to support future dietitians by raising funds for scholarships and educational opportunities.
A few fun facts about Kerrie:
ย She loves fried chicken.
ย She can make a clover with her tongue.
ย She played the French horn in high school.
ย Becoming a dietitian was her second career.
ย She’s passionate about supporting the next generation of dietitians.
Kerrie was inspired to get involved with MAND after presenting a poster at the annual conference and connecting with fellow dietitians through networking events. After receiving a MAND scholarship for her graduate degree, she wanted to give back by helping others on their educational journey.
What she values most about MAND is the opportunity to connect with dietitians from so many different practice areas and build meaningful professional relationships. Looking ahead, she’s excited to see MAND continue growing its membership, strengthening connections, and finding creative ways to support the future of our profession.
