“I’m a senior at Concordia College, studying Nutrition/Dietetics. I’m on the Concordia College Swim Team. I love being active, whether it’s spending time outdoors or competing within my sport. I have a large family, and I love spending time with them. I also love animals, as I have a Golden Retriever. I’m passionate about getting an education, as I will be applying for Concordia College’s graduate school in Nutrition/Dietetics this fall. I love to cook and try new foods.”
What got you interested in nutrition/dietetics? Nutrition is the basis of a healthy lifestyle, so it’s important to learn and adapt proper nutrition habits to sustain overall wellness throughout our lives.
What nutrition topics or issues are you interested in learning more about? Nutrition for cancer, GI health, and weight management
What type of career path(s) are you exploring? RD: Sport’s Nutrition, Outpatient Care, Research Nutrition and Physician’s Assistant
