What do you love about what you do? I love supporting school nutrition professionals who are feeding our youth day in and day out. My best days are when I leave a school having solved problems, made work life easier, and lightened the load for those hard-working staff.

What are the challenges? Staying organized!

How has your MAND membership benefited you? Collaboration with great nutritional professionals throughout the state.
As an independent consultant in rural MN, MAND has offered professional support and comradery for me.

What do you think is the future of nutrition and dietetics? Food is integral to our lives and our health. RDNs need to be known as food, health, and wellness experts so that the public trusts us and comes to us for guidance. RDNs must be at the forefront of public policy when it comes to hunger, health and food as medicine.

What is your favorite restaurant in Minnesota? Tutto Bene in Bemidji
