Provide us with a brief description of your job: Support WIC program coordinators in the South Central region of MN with nutrition and clinic services. I conduct Management Evaluations, work on policy, program materials and development, and a variety of other tasks.
What do you love about what you do? I love how flexible my job is! I also love My job also includes a lot of variety, so no two days are the same.
What are the challenges? Urgent needs can often push back projects on larger projects that are less urgent. The formula recall and shortage is an example of this! Supporting the local agencies in my region during the recall has frequently been consuming the majority of my day.
How has your MAND membership benefited you? It has been an excellent way to network and connect with other dietetics professionals.
What are your favorite activities/hobbies? I love gardening! I also love spending time outside with my two boys and my husband.
What is your favorite restaurant in Minnesota? Right now–Hazelwood in Bloomington.
