MAND’s Board Leadership and Public Policy Team, chaired by Emily Heying and Sonja Mydels, continues to work diligently behind the scenes to protect the scope of practice for registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs). They are actively engaging with lawmakers to ensure that nutrition care services remain within the purview of licensed professionals while supporting safe collaboration with acupuncturists and herbal medicine practitioners. These efforts help safeguard public health and uphold the integrity of the RDN profession.
